How to make Turkey Ranch Wraps

Ingredients

  • 8 thin slices cooked turkey
  • 4 flour tortillas (6 inches), room temperature
  • 1 large tomato, thinly sliced seeded and diced
  • 1 large avocado, sliced
  • 1 medium green pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup ranch salad dressing

Instructions:

  1. Spread about 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing on each tortilla, spreading to within 1/4 inch of the edge.
  2. Arrange about 1/4 cup of shredded lettuce on each tortilla; press lettuce down into ranch dressing. Place 2 turkey slices per tortilla over the lettuce, and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Top each tortilla evenly with tomato, and avocado slices.
  4. Roll each tortilla up tightly; cut in half across the middle with a slightly diagonal cut.

Options:

  • Swap out the cheddar cheese with Monterey Jack shredded cheese or Swiss cheese.
  • Spinach Tortilla Wraps: Try using a spinach wrap, but any burrito-size flour tortilla would work. There are also whole wheat tortillas for a healthy option. Just be sure to choose a large tortilla.
  • Adding sundried tomato is a great option and sounds delicious. Just be sure to choose a large tortilla.
  • Add bacon. Add a strip of bacon per wrap. Cook it until extra crispy for a smoky crunch in every bite. After cooking the bacon break each slice up and add to the wrap in step 3.
  • To make this turkey wrap Keto, skip the tortilla and sandwich your ingredients in between two leaves of butter lettuce! It won’t be a turkey “wrap”, but you’ll get the satisfying crunch of the lettuce, and the feeling of a sandwich with all the yummy fillings!
