How to make Shrimp and Vegetable Kebobs
Ingredients
- 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 medium red pepper, seeded and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium yellow pepper, seeded and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. all-natural sea salt
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
Directions
- Heat a grill to medium heat, and prepare skewers. Skewer the shrimp and vegetables in alternating order.
- Paint the skewered shrimp and veggies lightly with the tablespoon of olive oil, and sprinkle with the spices.
- Grill for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until shrimp is pink and completely cooked through.
Options:
- Veggies – Substitute or add vegetables based on what your family likes. You can also make a few skewers with just veggies. They are so good with the marinate and you can easily adapt each skewer for friends and family tastes.
- Seasoning – Add seasoning that you prefer. It is even delicious with lemon zest.
- Shrimp – We used Raw Shrimp to make this recipe. You can also use cooked shrimp but cooking time will be less since shrimp is already cooked.
