Nut Free Peanut Butter Blossoms are a holiday favorite made with a flourless, allergy-friendly twist! Still chewy and soft, these classic holiday Kiss Cookies are a must-make!
Recipe for Nut Free Peanut Butter Blossoms
Ingredients
- Bag of small chocolate kisses or chocolate stars
- 1 cup Organic or No Sugar Added SunButter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar, plus additional for rolling
- ⅓ cup lightly packed brown sugar (dark or light)
- 1 large egg, at room temperature
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl beat together the SunButter, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Add the baking soda and salt. Then beat in the egg.
- Using a 2 tablespoon (1 oz) cookie scoop, scoop the dough and roll it in white sugar. Place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 9 minutes, then remove from the oven and immediately place a chocolate kiss in the center. Let cool completely. Enjoy!
Note: If you don’t want to use classic kisses, you can also try Guittard’s milk chocolate chips. They’re larger than classic chocolate chips and are like mini kisses. You can even use 2 or 3 in the center and they’re just as delicious.
