How Equelle works using S-equol
S-equol is a metabolite of a soy isoflavone fermented from soy germ that shares a similar molecular structure to estrogen. S-equol is the active ingredient in Equelle. It is a plant-based compound produced through the fermentation of soy germ and is naturally produced by women in the gut in small amounts after consuming soy.
