How to make Grilled Salmon With Mango Salsa

Ingredients:

For the Salmon:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges (for serving)

For the Mango Salsa:

  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • ½ red bell pepper, diced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season them with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down, and grill for about 4-5 minutes per side, until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  4. While the salmon is grilling, prepare the mango salsa. In a medium bowl, combine the diced mango, red onion, jalapeño, red bell pepper, cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss to combine.
  5. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the grill and serve with a generous spoonful of mango salsa on top.
  6. Serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of citrus flavor.
